Was my blog just useful to someone?

A short post: one of the cool things that WordPress lets you do when they’re hosting your blog is see what kind of search engine entries lead people to your posts. I looked out of curiosity today and discovered that someone had wound up here by searching “teaching how a simple mass spectrometer works.” I hope the person who stumbled here on that particular mission found something helpful, although hopefully he went elsewhere to get the full details. What fun!

Way cool! I certainly learned a lot from that post, so I hope he/she did, too. Maybe it was another grad student preparing a lab lecture??????
