Things I Saw in Stony Brook, Part One of Many

I see a lot of things that catch my attention enough that I want to blog about them, but usually they’re sufficiently insubstantial to keep me from ever actually doing it. I saw one such thing today while I was trying to take a picture of the leaves turning color, and it made me realize that the obvious solution was just to occasionally post a random picture with a short comment or explanation. So here’s the first of what I hope will be many:

I guess some days it’s just important to have a plush platypus in your car.
